I am stumped... All editor controls are gone.
 

It's been a while since I was on the asking side of these posts but this one has me stumped.

This is happening in my test forum... I noticed a few weeks ago all the editor controls (the bb code butons and the smileys) are missing from all my styles... Missing in all editors be it quick reply or advanced or any other editor in vBulletin.

Since it was my test forum I ignored it figuring it was some halfway developed mod I had somewhere causing the issue... Until today when I really wanted to see the editor.

So I disabled hooks and the controls are still missing...

I made a new default style... no help...

Finally I upgraded to 3.8.7 since it was still on 3.8.6- figured that would replace all the files...

STILL NOTHING... Where did my editor controls go? :confused:

Anyone ever had this issue?

I've tried on different browsers too just in case, but same problem across all of them.

Have you checked Suspect File Versions just to verify you have all the files?

Look in the page source and click on all js files and make sure you don't get a 404 or unexpected server error or anything like that.

Look in the page source and just see if the code shows up there period. Best thing is to compare the page source to the page source on a site that works.

Is it just the images or is it gone fully?

Or have you changed your options?

I never even knew there was a "Basic Text Box" option.

I have been reuploading files and doing line by line comparisons of HTML output and this whole time somehow I set it to a basic text box.
