Completely hide subforum untill user reaches X posts
 
Is there a hack that could completely hide subforumus untill user reaches X posts?

Not a hack but it can be done with the built in promotions system and forum permissions. Make a new usergroup with permission to view a certain forum. Set the forum to not be visible to registered users. Set up an automatic promotion to promote people to the new usergroup after x post...

Now people without that many posts won't see the forum.

Thank you so much fot the tip. Never had a thought about using 'promotion function'.

It works just fine like I expected to.
