Latex editor
 

Hi!

I desperately need your help guys!

I am new in vbulletin and I am trying to install "Latex Maths & Physics Editor" in vbulletin 4.1.3.

I have already add the new plugin in vb and copy the folders "latexrender" & "equationeditor" in root.

However, the math editor is not working. What should I do?

Provide us with some screenshots where you uploaded the files to your forum's FTP, also a link to the modification thread so we can read the instructions, maybe you're missing a step or something.

What vBulletin version are you running ??

because that modification is for vBulletin 3.7.x, pretty old version.

my vbulletin version is 4.1.3

You won't be able to install that exact modification you're trying to use because it's for an older version of vBulletin. I suggest you to:

1.- Uninstall the product you imported.
2.- Delete all the files you uploaded to your forum's FTP.

Then try to search for a similar modification but make sure it's for vBulletin 4.x.x

Ok I think I found a better one!

How can I:

"Change the permissions of the pics and temp folders so the web server can write on them." ?

to do that:

Right click on the folder you need to change permission, then clicck "File Permissions..." and change the 'Numeric Value' to 777
