Attachment gallery
 

As posted elsewhere, my site has a large inventory of image attachments that are largely hidden away from users, other than random discovery on a one by one basis when viewing a thread that has an attachment.

It would be great to have a structured way of users accessing these.

Random thoughts about this function...

1. A gallery, that, by default, will show all attached images (in a paginated view) newest -> oldest. Allow the user to switch to oldest -> newest or rating highest -> lowest.

2. Allow the user to search for all attachments from a certain user. Ideally allow the Ajax username entry (as when sending a PM) to maximise chances of hitting a real user.

3. Allow each attachment to be tagged with keywords.

4. Allow each image to be rated 1-5.

5. Allow users to search images for a given keyword.


I think that will probably do, but open to suggestions. Even completing 1 would be a big win for me and, I hope, others in similar situations to me. I'll also post this in 'paid services', but I have no idea how much mods cost and don't have a massive budget.
