Instant promotions
 

Hi all,

Im trying to make it so once someone posts x amount of posts they instantly become a member of another usergroup.

This way I am able to limit the users able to post to a certain forum to those with x amount of posts.

But, with the promotion system as is, I think its set to up to 1 hour before someone is promoted.

What would be the best way to do what I am trying to do? Would it be through the use of promotions and usergroups?

If so is there anyway to make the promotion instant, so as soon as the user has posted his x post he will be able to post in the said forum?

Anyone have any info on this?

It is done every hour to save resources, if you do it instantly it will kill your server.

You can change the time to say 10-15 minutes if you done want to wait for 1 hour.
