getting the cms list nodes

hi there,

I want to get the list of sections of vbcms to show them in the forum index or any other template, I could just do a SQL query to do that then rendering them using 'vbcms_navbar_link' template but I thought that maybe there's a better way it can be done to get them.

I'm not sure where I should started. I looked into prepareNavBar() function in packages\vbcms\navbar.php. it seems the function only show what you choose to show in CMS navbar.

any idea? thanks.
