Allowing specific thread 'ID's' to notifiy of new messages in ONLY those categories.
 

Here is my example.

You know how forum threads/categories have ID's? And these ideas are used in code/templates and such.

Well, is there a way to notify a usergroup of just your own selected forum ID's when new posts are made?

Example:

You have 4-5 moderator categories, actively posted in. They are private so they aren't notified when a new post comes.

Could something be made (or is there something I could modify ) that would notify them of new messages.

It could even be a simple "Check New Messages - Mod" or "New - Mod" -- And they click it and it scans those ID's for new messages and if there are new.. it goes to it like the "What's New" does.

I'll take a link to anything code or mod.. or just advice on where to start .
