Category - display Order

How can you get items in a category to display in alphabetical order?

With the CMS -- it is easy with sections (drop down menu gives you the options) -- however, no such options are available in category manager.

What I would like to do is when someone clicks on a category in the "Category Nav (only this section)" widget -- the resulting display is in alphabetical order.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
