WhoIs Ip info from any post
 

What it does
Adds an extra option to get the WhoIs Ip information from the user dropdown you get when clicking a username in any post without leaving your site.

This has been tested on vB3.8.x but should work in any version

Time to install
Around 2 minutes regardless of experience level :).

What you have to do
You have to:

1. Upload the contents of the upload folder to your forum root
2. Import Product whoisip_002 in AdminCp
3. Enjoy!

All instructions are in the zip file, please mark as installed if you use this :)

Known Conflicts:
vbExperience if Give Away Points (GAP) link in user pop up is enabled you will not see this mod's link
AWCoding Donation System/Subscription System disable all the Username Popup in user stats settings for the Back-End, Donation System and Subscription System.

I will be contacting the coders of these mods to see what work around i can sort so you can have them all :)

Not a problem :), i'm creating a product xml for the template creation and line changes in postbit might upload tomorrow :)

Sorry, just realised that i hadn't changed permissions to see the info, it's done now :)

Things just got easier :), just removed all the manual stuff and added an xml, now it's just one file to upload to forum root and import the product :)

what are the default groups that can see this in the drop down menu. just 5,6,7 mods, super mods and admins?

never mind, looks like 5,6,7 to me in code. Installed easily, but not working on 3.8.4

It shows up in drop box, but then I click it and it goes to next page ... but then when I click on look up it doesnt do anything ... just basically cycles.

really cool mod tho ... I'm using google chrome .. guess I will check other browsers...

It's not version specific so should work fine on any vb3.8, i have to say i haven't checked with other browsers, only IE but will check when i have time, if your still having trouble let me know and some admin login details (by pm) and i'll do what i can.

Could you port this for vB 4?
