I'm assuming it's supposed to be that way based on that one super long url:

See it up top? Did you not consider it could be how that stretched, also reducing the right columns however the left underneath remained the set size because a long URL is not within the code of each?

So for now yes, it is that way and based on current info within the top "widget" per say it's going to throw the style off atm.

That's true but vB.org could really do with a nicer, more modern looking homepage. :)
