looking login settings

I recently upgraded to vB4, and some of my users are complaining that they are not staying logged in between sessions even when they choose the 'save' option. I went looking for an option in the vBulletin settings that refers to that 'save' option, but cannot find it. Can someone direct me to where I can see if I have an setting not right?
