Emailing 'Recent Threads' to members?
 

I administer a small, closed group forum (photography club). Some of our members have asked if we could once a week send a mail out with the recent threads that have been posted with a link back to them. Is this possible or does anyone know of a mod for it?

It's a default vbulletin functionality.

Go to your admincp, navigate to vB Settings -> User Registration Options
Scroll down to "Automatic Thread Subscription Mode" and set it to "Weekly email notification"

All registered users should do the same in their vbulletin control panel via "User Control Panel" > Edit Options > "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

Also they can subscribe to forums via Forum Tools > Subscribe to this forum ...

There might be a way to run an sql query so everyone is auto-subscribed but I don't think it's necessary. Everyone who whishes to stay informed can do it by themself.
