Schedule Tasks issue
 

Hi.

Is it normal that when I go in admincp/cronadmin.php?do=modify the Next Time date of the below tasks is in the past?

Restore Temporarily Banned Users
Hourly Cleanup #2
Infractions Cleanup

It seems these are not running. Ex it's now 18:45 and one of them is set to run at 18:15.

If I choose one of them, click Edit and Save straight away, then the time is updated and Next Time is now correct.

Where do I have to start to identify the cause? {vb:raw cronimage} is in the footer.

Is this, from 2008, still valid?
The Scheduled Tasks will only run if there is activity on the site.

I must say this is a bit funny because there are times of the day when there is no activity in the forum and I need some tasks to run. How can I force them to run regardless of forum activity?

I would suggest run a cron job from the server. They will run regardless of forum activity.
