Any file type or extension in vbulletin extension manager - upload anything
Vbulletin ships in a configuration that prohibits users from uploading many popular file types. File types have to be added, one at a time, in the extension manager. This is a slow process taking minutes from every user, and perhaps months or years collectively. (extreme cost to community.)

Some files would be a big security risk to allow people to upload. That's why you are limited by type.

An administrator should be able to make that decision and it should not be forced as it is.
I found my thread because it's a bit later now, and I was googling to find any solution to this problem. |
As administrator can allow any type they want. They simply have to allow the file type.
