Relocate Forum Submenu
 
I want to completely remove the Forum navtab, along with its submenu, from the vBulletin navbar.

I then want to relocate the forum submenu - New Posts, Private Messages, FAQ, Calendar, Community, Forum Actions, Quick Links - to somewhere else.

I believe the code is located in the "navbar" template, but I don't know enough about the coding to be able to cleanly remove and relocate it.

Can someone please advise me as to what code I need to remove, and what code I can use to display just the submenu cleanly at another section of the forum?

It is in the navbar. If you want to remove all the navtab stuff, remove everything down to, but not including, this line:
