User are not getting Notifications on Topic Answers! HELP

Hello guys. I recently created a forum with vbulletin called www.iforum.com.br
I noticed that Users are not getting notifications via Email when someone answer his topic or other people are participating on the topic as well.

Some people told me that user when are registering has the option to choose if they want to receive or not. But when u click in register there is no such an option.

Is there anything that I can do in Admin to people have those notifications? Please help me, Im desperated

Go to AdminCP --> Settings --> Options --> User Registration Options

Scroll down till you find: Default Registration Options
There is what you are looking for.

^^ That is where you set it for new registrations.

For existing users, they need to go to the Forums > Settings > General Settings > Default Thread Subscription Mode

Hey guys I went to AdminCP --> Settings --> Options --> User Registration Options

I didnt find Email notification when someone post a reply on the topic. Is this settings good only for those who register now on? Or for the old users as well?

Lynne, I need this Email notifications to be DEFAULT for all users. I cannot count on to users setup this notifications by themselfes

....

I really didnt find this option... Anyone?

AdminCP --> Settings --> Options --> User Registration Options --> Automatic Thread Subscription Mode --> Instant Notification. That will send a message to the thread starter when someone replies to their thread. This setting is for NEW registered users, not users already registered.

To change it for existing users, admincp > maintenance > execute sql query > select query from dropdown. That will set the default for any new threads a user starts. They can still set it to something else themselves though.
