Cleaing up plugin files
 
Are there any tools I could use to scan for un-used files such as old files for plugins that I removed.

AdminCP > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Suspect File Versions

That will show you a list of non-vbulletin files. It won't tell you whether you are actually using them or not.

Yes, but it is a good place to start as far as finding files that you still have on the server that may potentially be from modifications no longer used.
