New Posts Q

I know its been asked before but there was no real reply.

I've checked out some forums still running 3.x and one that's running 4.x and they have it set up that you see new posts in bold but any posts you have read still show but in ordinary text.

Does anyone have any idea of the settings used? Or if there is a mod for it?
