Is there a way to create widget for sub-section?

I am new to this, so be patient with me.

So far, I like VBulletin 4.x.x, but could not figure it out how to create a widget for sub-section. For example, in the Widget Section that has 10 items in that widget. Within each item that has 10 sub-section items. Widget section item #1 has 10 sub-section items 1 through 10. Now if I wanted to create the widget only for item #1 in the Widget Section, how can I do that? Is this doable in this Vbulletin 4.x.x?

So, you know what I mean now. I can create individual sub-section and place it in the right places when clicking on the item in Widget Section. This is very neat, so that I know where they are.

Thanks for your help!

Victor

Hi,

It is not clear to me what you want to do but here is one way to create different widgets for different sections:

1) ACP / CMS / widget manager, create a widget by selecting a template from the dropdown list
2) ACP / CMS / Grid Manager / create the basic layout grid you want
3) ACP / CMS / Layout Manager / Add new layout, select you grid, add the widgets you want
4) Now go to the site front, edit the section and select the Layout from the dropdown list

Now repeat the process for different sections, and you can have different widgets on each.

What you wanted?

Thanks for answering the questions, but I need to make it more clear, as follow:

1) I know how to as mentioned by you to create the widget for section.
2) But my real question is: how can I make a widget for the subsection?
3) For example:

Widget Section listed out:

AAA
---111
---1111
---11111
---111111
BBB
---222
CCC
---333
DDD
---444
EEE
---555

I can do that.

4) Now, I want to create the widget for sub-section that only lists out as below:

AAA
---111
---1111
---11111
---111111

This is what I am looking for.

Is it better from this message?

Thank you for answering the question.

Victor
