CMS: View Mod and Additional Tool
 

Most people I have meet really dislike the CMS and how it displays listings for the articles, etc. However we all want the CMS by vb because it is built in and supports search and post promotion to articles.

Here is what I propose and hope that someone could help develop by using the built in PHP Direct Evaluation on a widget.

Initial view would display subcategories of a preselected category. Here is an example from an old articles system in vb3.

What I would like to see is that when you click on one of the sections, it was present a view of the articles that can be filtered. The article listings should be more sleek and should have an ability to filter along the top based on categories. Once the article is selected, it will go to the traditional article view that the CMS presents.
