vb.org Archive - Lots of casino/gambling users registering

Hi everyone :)

In the last 3 days we've had to ban 26 casino and gambling related users. All have got through the bot stopping stuff we have in place (we've had no bots since I installed some recommended plugins 18 months ago), which leads me to believe they could be real people. They have different IP addresses and different e-mail addresses, and the only similarities are the names (e.g. name1976, name88, etc) and the links and keywords to gambling sites they put in their profiles.

Is anyone else having this problem at the moment, and if so, what are you doing to stop them registering, if anything can be done?
