Old CMS articles - Where do they go?

Hi, can anyone help me, I have a CMS site, and wondered where the old CMS articles get pushed to? is there no archive for them?

Is there a way to have a widget with a CMS article archive on by month so if an article gets pushed off the front page it can still be easily accessed?

If you have Pagination on in the Sections, then you can just click the Pagination links on the bottom of the section to see more articles.
