VB4 Human Verification Problem

Hi All,

I want to enable Human Verification in my forum but the problem is that it will disable the option of Quick Reply. However, in some of the forums (DP), I found that while posting a new thread it needs human verification but in Quick Reply its not required.

How can I achieve this? I need this because Human Verification will stop spamming and Quick Reply is must for getting good user interaction.

It only disables Quick Reply for the usergroup if you have that usergroup set to require human verification.

Yeah exactly this is my point. Ok let me explain it.

Suppose a new user registered, so he is in "Registered Users" group. Now since HV is enabled he has to go through it for posting a new thread as well as reply.

What I want is that he should go through HV for new threads but not for replying but since Quick Reply is disabled now, he has to take all the pain.

I hope that its clear now what I want. Any help out here?

So you want Registered Users to have to go through the HV when posting new threads but not when posting replies?

I don't know as it isn't a default option. You will need to custom code that or hire someone to custom code it for you.
