Log in errors
 
upgrade to 4.x when it came out and had severe issues as my forum was old and handled in old db. the db was not compatible with VB4.x so basically I started over .

but now I have a log in issue . If you log in from main page it will show you as not logged in but when you go into forums and come back you are logged in but it is hurting my posting because people think they can not log in .

Do you allow users to browse your site via both www.yoursite.com and just yoursite.com? What is your Cookie Domain set to? What is the URL of the "main" page and the url of the "forums".

How would you set it for both www and without?

Doh !!!

Can not believe after 6 years I for got to check that "www" in url

I had a php script forwarding .. "site.org" to "www.site.org/forums "
I know better , and just been dealing with it since switching to 4.x
