How can I change the color of the Notification box when there is an unread PM
 

Hello again!

Most of our members (including me) do not like the pop-up "You have a new notification" thing that you can enable, so it is left disabled. However, in our theme the notification window is black even if you have a PM.....

What I want to do is change this:

I don't know. Have you tried New Reputation Notification?

By the way, those are two different forums (top one is mine, other one is another site), so it is possible, that is not just a photoshop. The admin of that site doesn't do PMing so I can't ask what he did unfortunately (plus I don't think he'd tell me).

I take it your running a custom skin? Have you looked at it in the default skin?

I am indeed using a skin downloaded from the skin area.

Does it have that functionality in the standard skin? I wonder what I would need to change. I feel like I've seen every single line of code in stylevar :(

Since most skins act differently, I would say to contact the skin designer. Not much else you can do.
