prune postedithistory
 

Hi guys,

I've been attempting to reduce down the size of my DB under instruction from my host and i see that postedithistory is taking up 80MB. I've gone into the admin control panel and pruned the history but it doesnt reduce the size on the database. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or what the issue may be?

The next biggest items are cronlog at 20MB and PMtext at 10MB. Any idea how to clear these? I've cleared the schedulaed tasks log for the cronlog (same thing or not?) but that hasnt reduced either.

Finally, I've had to delete the search database as that takes up half of my 500MB limit. Is there another way to enable this without it being so intensive?
