Currently Active Users Problem
 
Hello,

i want to change the session timeout for the Currently Active Users so it can show during the last 20 hours , i went to Cookies and HTTP Header Options + Session Timeout

changed value to 86400 however it doesnt affect or change anything

has it been 24 hours since you changed it? It won't count the 24 hours previous to when you changed it.

btw in Who's Online Refresh Period (Who's Online Options) what value should i put ?
also 86400 ?

who's online refresh period is how often the whos online page will refresh when you're viewing it. If you want to show people as being online when they last logged in up to 20hrs ago, then you'd also need to set that to 86400, but that will show what time their last activity was at as well unless you disbale that option.

You want to leave the Who's Online Refresh Period to a shorter time. This is what updates the actual list. If you have this set to 24 hours, it will only update once every 24 hours.

For example, if you have somone login 1 hour after the Who's Online updates, they will not show up on the list for another 23 hours (but would stay on it for another 24 hours because it only refreshes that often).

So I would leave the Who's Online setting to 15 minutes or somewhere around there for best results.

ok i got it i will put Who's Online setting 900 then and on the session timeout the 86400
