Different pages, different styles

Whenever I go to the home page the vB default style shows up. On all other links I stay on the custom theme I have installed.

Wassup with that?

Home page as in CMS? Edit the section and set the style to default or inherit.

Edit what section? Where do I find that?

Edit the home section. Go home, hover over section title, click edit pencil, set style, save.

My problem is getting the page to show that I put there. All it shows is HOME in the header. How the hell to I customize this? Kind of shocked this is not as user friendly as advertised.
