Change Section Widget

I want to change the section links in the sections widget to section listed in my forum but just have not been able to figure out if that is possible. I would like links to items like the admincp, usercp, forum, etc.

I also would like to change the Categories listed int he categories widget to categories listed in my forum.

Any ideas?
