users cant upload avatars
 
Ive just got 2 messages that new registered users cant upload avatars. They want their own pics next to there posts and for some reason they cant make it happen?

If the other users can, it is likely a permission issue. Do you have your users "promote" to new usergroups?

actually Im still a newbie, so Im not sure really, I thought I had it set so that basically, unregistered could access everything but not post, registered could access everything and post (except the 2 paid subscriptions areas). For them there is no "Custom avatar field" under "settings" Just 1 preselected field for "do not use avatar" any ideas?

Look at their settings in usergroup manager > registered user and make sure Can Upload Custom Avatars is set to yes.
