Making Category Icons bigger

Hi, I follwed Lynne's how to make them bigger with width adjustment.. but, it does not work, and i think it's due to this hack I am using:

Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can bump them up from the standard 48px? to say 80?

I never wrote a how to for making icons bigger. You just use photoshop, or similar, to do that. So, I'm really not sure exactly what you are talking about.
