Urgent Help Need for this VBulletin 4 MYSQL Database issue

Hey Guys,

I am facing this thing for around 2 days now,
I am getting 100's of locked queries like this :

299 DB NAME localhost USERNAME Query 253 Locked SELECT COUNT(*) AS users,MAX(userid) AS max FROM user

Like this, hundreds of queries becomes LOCKED and clog up the MYSQL, then i need to restart the service and then its back to normal.

Can anyone hint me whats going on here, i am very very unhappy with this at this time.

Please help urgent.

Are you running any backup scripts that lock tables? Or when does this actually happen during the day? Busy times?

I cannot find that query in default vbulletin. Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if you still have this same issue?

This is a query on the DEFAULT MAIN INDEX PAGE, if i am not wrong.

Sorry, you are wrong. Like Lynne, I could not find it in default vb. It is from one of your mods.

Try running a search on the files yourself and see if you can find it. I cannot find it in the default files.
