Changing size of preview images CMS front page

Hello,

I am trying to get the preview images for articles on my home page to be a certain with at all times. But I can't seem to find the setting to do this. If I look under stylevars under the CMS section there are a number of image size options but they are for the most part deprecated. And none of them seem to have any effect on the image size.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
