Add Action During Registration
 

I am looking to subscribe new forum members to a series of autoresponder messages that introduce people to the forums and help them navigate the site.

I am curious to know where do I look to find the place to add the required code? I'm pretty sure I can add this in right at the same point where the welcome message to the newly registered member is sent.

Have you taken a look at where the register_* hooks are? Find them in the php code (just do a search in files using your text editor or whatever you use to do that) and see which one suites your needs.

After 8 yrs I'm still not 100% comfortable with knowing when to look in file vs db, etc. <shakes head>
