here is an example this is at another site that has this

wont let me do link so i will attach pic there are url inbetween this disregard the code blocks i inserted

and what this will do will display the name of thread on the link instead of the full link of the thread on site ....is there any such add on or perhaps template change i have to make thanks in advance

Sorry I don't understand the question. Maybe if you explained what exactly you are trying to accomplish?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=154734

now i seen this on other sites that i go to where they input a link on there site in the post and instead of giving the location like the link i gave you above it will put in thread name automatically ....there has to be a addon or maybe template change perhaps that i could do to get this to work

i am in vb 4.1.2 and havent seen any addons for this perhaps i am missing something ...

thanks for reply back

You mean if a user typed http://www.tibetanmastiff.com/main_files/img11.jpg you want that to be instantly translated to "Dog" in their message? Sounds like magic.

Sorry, but placing URLs inline still requires the two step process of typing "Dog", highlighting it, and pressing the "insert link" key.

BTW, I use Ditto and it often intelligently copies URLs, leaving a good inline.

I use that on my site running vBulletin 4.1.2
