Section widgets... Bit limiting, so how to mod

Hi,

If I have the following setup for sections, is it possible to display each section in its own widget instead of being bundled together in one.

Parent Section 1
Child Section 1
Child Section 2
Child Section 3

Parent Section 2
Child Section 4
Child Section 5
Child Section 6
