Calendar: weekly view -> first day of the week

HI,

I use the calendar with the weekly view being the default. The weekly view takes the first day of the week from the vb settings (or personal settings). I was hoping to have the first day by the current day of the week (according to the board settings or personal timezone of course). Would this be possible via a plugin somewhere in calendar.php?
