added latest posts to static site

Hi,

Is thre away to add the latest forum posts to a static site? Also what about site stats? have vb4 installed in a sub folder called forum and a static html site in root.

I did this once by grabbing the output of the html of a widget , then I framed it or something but I cant remember how i did it now, it did update the iframe, Im sure you could do it with javascript and the html
