Add Facebook to Sidebar, Remove 'Home' in Navigation, 3rd level sub-forum links...

I'm new to vBulletin and would like help. Please, I ask to be specific (exact locations of where to go) if you can help me out because if you give me general instructions I'll probably get lost.

I have 4 questions:
  1. How do I remove the "Home" navigation link in vBulletin 4.1.2? I checked out mods and would like to know which one is the best one to use that also has support. Is it possible to remove the "Home" navigation link without using a mod?
  2. When I create a forum (parent), we'll say 'Upcoming Events' for this example, it shows up on the main forum display. When I create a sub-forum, name is 'California', and assign 'Upcoming Events' as the parent it shows up as a link on the main forum display. My question is, when I create another sub-forum, for example 'El Segundo', and assign 'California' as the parent..why does the sub-forum link still show up on the main forum display under Upcoming Events. I'd like it so that 'California' only shows up there and then the 'El Segundo' link show up only under 'California'.

I hope this one made sense. 3 levels of sub-forums but having each lower level only have the link show on the previous level and not all levels.
  3. Where would I go about, after removing the "Home" navigation, to set it so that visitors can type in www.forum.example.com and reach the forum display versus having to type in www.forum.example.com/forum.php to reach the forum display?
  4. Lastly, how would I go about (do I use a widget or find a mod?) to add a Facebook box in the sidebar of the forum display. Currently I have the recent comments and recent blog posts widgets showing there and would like to add one of those Facebook boxes with the "like" button, which also shows current friends who "liked" the page.

Thank you for your time and support!

1. [HOW TO - vB4] Remove the vB Default Navtabs
2. Check AdminCP > Settings > Options > forum Listings Display Options
3. Edit your index.php page. There are instructions to redirect that to forum.php instead of content.php
4. Search the mods forums.

Where would I go about finding these instructions? Sorry, I'm a little overwhelemd...the manual is long and there are so many topics online when I try to do some research.
