Create a link to the paid subscriptions

I am setting up paid subscriptions (and for the record it bothers me that there is no default option to have users pay for a subscription before being able to even register) and am looking to put a link in a post that takes the user to the paid subscriptions page in their control panel. Is this possible? And if so, is it possible to preselect the subscription for them?

I think if im not wrong you can set user class registered user as a paid subscription
and they will have to go through the payment gateway to sign up

Huh, really? Has anyone else done this??

I setup a subscription, then disabled it as I do not need it right now.

once you set it up, there is a single url that you can use that will
take the buyer through the payment process, but you know what,
I can not remember that url at the moment...that maybe what
you are looking for...

I am sure those with subscriptions setup can help you with that url...

ahh, I remember...

/payments.php

Is that what you are looking for?

I see what you are saying now...

you want people to buy without signing in or having to register with the forum?

Cant help you with that...

Well my original questions were, I am looking to put a link in a post that takes the user to the paid subscriptions page in their control panel. Is this possible? And if so, is it possible to preselect the subscription for them?

The secondary aspect of pay before registration is another thing altogether :)

I think the better way to go is give unregistered no access, then if they sign up they can view some but not post, to post they would have to go into a paid class

OK, so how do I preselect a subscription and the amount?

oh you will have to set up a new class also to send them into if they pay

Done the class setup already, i have got the amount in the drop box but want to preselect it to save users having to do that step (Iie use the drop box) so they can just click the order button
