Forum Wrapper and Moving Text
Is it possible to add an image to go around my forum instead of just a line? I've searched for wrapper etc but I can't work out where I need to add the code.
Also http://bumples.co.uk/vb4/forumdisplay.php?2-Main-Forum How can I move the text 'Forum: Main Forum Main Forum Description' over so that there is a space before it? Thanks! |
What do you mean have an image go around? Can you post a link to an example or an image of an example?
And you want space just before the text "Forum: Main Forum"? Change stylevar "pagetitle_padding" to add some padding to the left. |
Thanks Lynne that worked :)
An example of the forum wrapper is here http://www.themesbase.com/preview/?preview=6959 The purple edging is what I want to add. |
They applied a class called "border" to the right and left column of the table (main content is in the center column) and then added this CSS for it:
HTML Code:
.border { background-color: #B4B5CC; background-image: url("images/recipe/recipe_bdr.gif"); background-repeat: repeat-y; width: 10px;} |
Thanks again!
Just one more question - how and where do I add the class? I really wanted to work it out myself but I can't :( |
I always add extra CSS to the additional.css template.
|
Ah yes I thought that but I wasn'[t sure about this

OK I'll give that a go cheers! Could you tell me where I do that - which file/stylevars.

This would have to all be custom. Find the div you want to put the border around and then put a div around that and give it isn't own class, like .myborder:
HTML Code:
<div class="myborder"> HTML Code:
.myborder {background:url(whatever....) blue repeat etc; margin: 10px;} |
