Add Tags & Prefixes in Moderation CP
Is there any way to modify the moderate.php file to add the following fields to each moderated post:
Prefixes tags Currently in the admincp>moderate new threads/posts> the only options available are title: content: Notes: I would like to see: Prefix: Title: content: Tags: Notes: this would save alot of time from having to individually edit 50+ posts per day because most members neglect to choose the proper prefix or add tags at all. I have been thinking about the same problem and thought of a different solution. What do you think about this:
In newthread.php add a custom field that the user needs to fill in. The custom field could be titled 'What [topic] is this thread about?' For your freebie forum you could change that to: 'What free product(s) is this thread about?' The terms the user enters should be added as tags. |
that would be a wonderful addition Alfa for the users, but we still need something in the moderator/admin backend to edit them. Lots of times the users (even IF they manage to add tags) don't use ones that are relevant to their posts. I've tried autotaggers- but they ignore posts that go into moderation.
