Lower profile user info? (making postbit less tall)

We just enforced the VBSEO conditional signature rule that hides signatures after the first post. (too many commercial postings - just to get the sig file viewed)

Anyhow, there is of course now a gap in the postbit where the members epic, long, spamy signatures used to sit

so one-liner contributions still take up a lot of page real estate.

At the moment the following shows up on the left-hand side

Date / time
User-name
Post status
Avatar 100 x 100 pixels
Join date (over two lines ?)
Join date (over two lines) (OK this is silly I admit..)
Location (over two lines?)
Location (over two lines) (Also silly I admit..)

The gap above and below the avatar could get reduced
We could force join date and location to be on one line I suppose

But what I am looking for are tips on how to get the info in in an attractive way, and not look too messy / jammed..

Any tips on how to reduce unused space under "one liner" posts are greatly appreciated!

Links to examples also cool - thanks

Thanks in advance!

You will need to ask this question on the vbseo forums since we don't have any idea what the code is that you are using.

the question is about postbit graphical lay-out / the look of it.

The fact that I have removed sigs with a plug in is moot.. For the purposes of this question, lets ignore that please..;);):

How can I get a low profile. less tall postbit but cram in a lot of social media links?

Are there any plug ins that generate a row of tiny social media icons above each post?

If I can have that (like this) ...

youtube icon / myspace icon / linked in icon / Facebook icon / link to own site

...between the user name and the join date info then I could save on a LOT of wasted page space below each thread...

Thanks

How about a link to your showthread page and an image of what you want it to look like.
