Posting in threads descending/ascending
 

How can I change the direction of the post within a thread to start from the oldest post first to the newest post last?

My threads are threaded by latest threads.

in the adminstration view its fine except in the user view it's backwards.

where can I change this?

It's a user setting. Go to your site, click Settings > General Settings > Thread Display Mode

You can also set this for new members in admincp > AdminCP > Settings > Options > user registration options > default options > display mode
