XML / Google Maps...

I need some help. I have this .xml file that I'd like to import some of the data into google map markers. Has anyone done this sort of thing before? I don't know where to start. Basically, I'd like to have a map similiar to the one used here: http://www.catskillflies.com/map.html . But I'd like to use some of the information from the .xml output listed above into those markers.
