Question Regarding Those Like Buttons

regarding those facebook like buttons on articles and threads.

1) are the number of likes counted in your forum's database or directly on facebook?

2) is it possible to see who actually liked?

this site is officially dead. i posted one thread, replied to 10 or more and couldn't even get a single reply to any questions or anything else.

still haven't even gotten a reply to a thread i posted a week ago.

so sad, i chose vbulletin for my new project because of the great things possible through vbulletin.org but now i guess i chose wrong. it looks like the majority of coders really did abandon vbulletin. too bad i realized it too late.

1. facebook
2. yes if they are your friends or they have their permissions setup for anyone to see them

don't cast judgement on all vb just because you happen to have a question go un-answered..

also both your questions could be answered via google if you were in a hurry ;)

i apologize brandon, i was more pissed about my other thread going unanswered, as i really needed help with that. and couldn't find any info on it, also i replied to a couple of mods i really wanted to install but couldn't because i couldn't get any feedback on questions i had about them.

it just seems as if the members here aren't as active as they used to, i even started a thread about that, at least that got some replies. but i notice now a lot has just changed, which saddens me, but i guess the fact that there are still coders inventing new mods on a regular basis, proves that the site isn't dead yet, just not as helpful anymore, at least to me.

thanks for replying.
