Notification if someone posted before you did.

There may already be away to do this, i would like to have a notification come up when you try to post in a thread and someone posts before you in specific forums, this a lot because of role roleplaying boards to prevent posts ruining the flow of the storyline. Anyone know of this kind of mod, or know how it would be implemented?

Addition:

I was thinking something along the lines of.

"A new reply was made before you. Please check that your reply doesn't clash with the one just made." preferable using a phrase so anyone can set their own message.
