Custom Block (Right-Side Profile Block)

Now, I've done this before within 3.8 to add a users favourite YouTube video. See here.

Basically, I'd like to add my own profile block on the left. I'd like it so members can choose their own country flag within the usercp settings and the flag, subsequently displays in a block on their profile, titled 'My Country'

Any help with this, is greatly appreciated :)

Have you tried editing the MEMBERINFO template at all to add this? There are even a bunch of template_hooks available (search on "profile_sidebar_first" in that template to find the first one). Have you tried writing a plugin or what have you tried?
