Is it possible to have your CMS look like this WP theme?

The site is edit the reason why I am asking is that most sites i've seen using the CMS look all the same. Seems like there is not much customisation ability.

How hard would it be to have your CMS look like the site above? is it even possible?

Thanks!

Well it seems their site was not paid up for or they simply forgot to renew as the link now goes to: http://suspended.hostgator.com/?doma...nlinetoday.com

I can tell you that customizing the CMS is possible, I had a client send in a PSD nothing more and had a fully redesigned CMS that still retained full functionality so the answer is yes, it can be done!

Well bear in mind that's wordpress however it can be done or very close, most things are simple styling some other things may require a modification to be coded or a quick plugin made it really depends on what you end up deciding when the time comes i.e. some of your ideas may take more or less time than other ideas to implement it truly just depends.

HI;

Can you give me a ballpark idea of how big of a project it was to redesign the CMS?

Are you able to share the site this was done on or a similar site that has had the CMS look significantly changed?

Thank You

Jamie

It was actually part of a larger job... ballpark it would again depend on what you want, some of the changes per the PSD were significant and others were quick and simple a nice mix that job was. I would post a request in the paid request forum after you purchase, this way you can receive quotes from multiple people and please read the sticky threads at the top and imo it's important to check into the individual or company before hiring. As rates go, it's going to be like mechanical work on your car where rates vary from shop to shop so me providing a ballpark won't make a difference if you think about it.

Thanks for your response.

I guess I am just going to end up having to take the leap get the the software, then hope that the mods I need can be done at a somewhat affordable price.

Should any experienced PHP developer be able to do mods for VB or will they have a ton of extra work if they are not familiar with VB?

Thanks
Jamie

I would think they could catch on rather quickly although I cannot answer that from doing the same as I come from a work experience class instead of education - basically I came from two back to back jobs dealing with a completely different and pc based software and writing macros to reduce programming time and make things simple for CAD designers so learning what I have to date in regards to vbulletin and in particular web based programming languages has been on my own... if I can learn all of this and catch on well then honestly I see no reason why someone "experienced" cannot plain and simple no need to draw it out further then that ;).
