Test dummy before actual upload
 

where do you guys test themes/mods/products/plugins etc whatever they are all called before you do an actual upload on your forum to see if it works and how it works.

I use the plugin after few users here uses it and share their experience..

On my localhost.

As do I.

I recommend using a localhost or seperate installation of vbulletin for testing of themes, mods ect. You never know what might go wrong, it's all well and good that others are using that particular mod fine, but you don't know how it will go for you until you try it. A test installation is perfect for that as it won't affect your live site.

waht do you mean on a local host?
